TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
