What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part that requires honesty. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
