TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
